Throughout my travels I usually notice a few common themes expressed by most of the people I deal with, and one of those is storage. If you’re like me, you probably have years worth of digital photos, video of the kids, and only who knows what else kicking around somewhere on a hard drive. While these memories are rarely dragged out to be shown off to friends or family, these are usually considered the most valuable things we have. They’re the equivalnt of our parents and grandparents old photo albums that allow you to ocassionally see how much weight we’ve gained and how wrinkly our faces have gotten over the last ten or twenty years. It sometimes makes me wonder why these things are so valuable, but I have several gigabytes of my younger and spryer self with my wife and son squirrelled away in a dusty corner of my digital world.

The more technically savvy of you out there already know, though, that the digital world sometimes fails. The memories can be lost, or the drive fills to capacity. Luckily for us, space these days is cheap and easy to obtain. Moreover, moving from one machine to the next in the inevitable upgrade is also pretty easy with the newer technology on the market. External hard drives such as the Western Digital WD Elements 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive and the Western Digital WD Elements 2 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive make storing and transferring your data as easy as turning on a light.

Next time you take a look at the pictures of your vacation in 2004, you might want to consider how those memories will survive the next foray into the future. Not everyone will be able to keep the memories through the constant cycling of hardware, but we know we will, right?

You are about to find the best rates out of all pay as you go cell phone plans

What you need to know first before buying a phone and registering for any pay as you go cell phone plans is that most plans require a minimum monthly top up fee regardless of whether or not you use the minutes.

More Info

The fact is I’ve met too many people that are very frustrated because they don’t use their cell phone that often yet in order to keep their number and keep their phone active they are bullied into paying a monthly fee and that’s totally and completely unfair! In fact one woman I spoke with regarding her pay as you go cell phone plan had over $650 in airtime on her phone because she had been paying that monthly fee for a few years in order to keep her number.

Yeah, the pay as you go phone plan looked cheap on the surface and sure it’s great those prepaid minutes don’t expire but why should this poor woman is forced into paying a minimum monthly fee just so she can keep her cell phone number?

So when you buy a cell phone you need to watch out for companies with their pay as you go cell phone plans that try to rip you off, especially if you are a casual cell phone user that wants a pay as you go cell phone plan for emergency phone calls only.

If you are fed up with the fees that most pay as you go cell phone plans try to force you to pay, there is some really good news!

After hearing about too many people getting ripped off by monthly fees that you shouldn’t have to pay I spent a lot of time researching the various plans on the market today and found what I feel to be the best pay as you go cell phone company that offers some really cheap basic and simple cell phones as well as some very cool pay as you go touch screen cell phones.

What’s the Best Pay As You Go Cell Phone Plan?

Out of all the pay as you go cell phone plans on the market, I’ve found an amazing deal that you simply can’t refuse!

The best mobile phone on the market in our opinion is the Samsung Captivate Android phone for several reasons including it’s ultra slim design and the incredibly clear display technology Samsung uses called Super Amoled technology which is a touch screen technology where the touch is detected within the screen versus an overlay on top of the screen, the Captivate phone features and awesome 800×400 pixel resolution on a 4 inch screen.

Here are more details about the Samsung Captivate Android smartphone

Battery Life: 5hours talk time – 350 Hours standby

5MP Built-in Camera

Built-in MP3 Player

Includes SWYPE predictive text technology

Built-in Bluetooth technology

Comes with 16GB internal memory with external MicroSDHC to 32GB

One of the reasons we pick the Samsung Captivate Android as the best mobile phone on the market over phones such as the Apple iPhone 4G is the fact the Captivate allows you to expand your memory and the iPhone does not support additional memory.

There are a lot of really great phones available today so make sure you at least have a look at the Samsung Captivate and I know you’ll agree it’s a great phone that has all the features you’ll ever need plus with the Android platform there are tons of cool apps you can load onto your phone from the Android Marketplace.
